Tegenaria Domestica - Tegenaria domestica - female

Tegenaria Domestica - Tegenaria domestica - Female
Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada
August 12, 2005
Size: body length approx .5"
My boyfriend found it in his house and got someone to catch it for me. Aw, how sweet. Since this one is female, she's much more content to simply live in a container. I caught a male several months ago. 'Since the males spend their lives seeking the females, he obviously wasn't comfortable in a container. So a few days after capture I released him outside. This lady, however, has been happy to eat flies and build webs in an enclosed area. 'Been observing her for about three months.
