Moved from Pachybrachius.

Seed bug.
This is a really fine image of a lygaeid bug (or one of the new, derivative families).

Pachybrachius sp?
This at least superficially resembles Pachybrachius albocinctus, so am creating a guide page. Note the dramatic constriction of the thorax into anterior and posterior lobes. While Ligyrocoris is similar, it does not have such a great constriction.

Good id Eric, and nice note explaining what to look at.

Species is wrong.
Dr. Jane O'Donnell says this is not P. albocinctus. She'll try and offer a better ID at a later date.

lygaeidae
It looked like a palnt bug, except the antennae weren't right. Thanks for the ID Eric.
