Looks similar to Ophiogomphus bison. Anyone have a thought to its actual ID?

With the green thorax and yellowish appendages, it should be Ophiogomphus. Bison appears to be the only one recorded from the county (assuming the google links to Stanislaus are the correct Del Puerto) although a couple others have been found nearby. Both of those appear to have a thin green stripe breaking up the black on the shoulder, so I'd say this is Bison.
