What the heck killed my fly?

What the heck killed my fly?
Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana, USA
January 27, 2009
Two questions: (1). Does this fly look to have been killed by Entomophthora? (2) What species of blow fly (Calliphoridae) is this? I collected this blow fly near pig carrion on Jan. 27, 2009 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The site location was a cow pasture and the weather was cool, not cold. The fly was already dead when I found it, and this particular fly had not been there the previous day.

Fungus-killed fly
The answer to your first question is yes--the fungal body is bursting out between the abdominal segments. I have no idea what species it is, but I'm moving the image to the family page, where a specialist may be more likely to see it.
