Slender black-legged Epi - Epicauta brunnea

Slender black-legged Epi - Epicauta brunnea
foothills of Organ Mts., Doña Ana County, New Mexico, USA
August 6, 2006
Size: 16 mm?
Came to my UV lights on mesquite/greesewood/cactus western incline of Organ Mts. foothills. If I recall my thread counts, each moth sheet square = 5mm.

These are but a few of the meloids I photographed on my 2006 collecting trip to the Las Cruces area of New Mexico.

Epicauta brunnea Werner -- J.D. Pinto det.
Moved from Epicauta.

Oh boy!
Thanks John and Belov!
