New pool owner trying to identify tiny gold bugs

we just filled our new in-ground liner pool and noticed thousands of tiny yellow or gold colored mites or louse looking insects around the top of the vinly liner just above the water line. Any ideas?

Sounds Like Springtails
They live in the soil and are attracted to moisture. They're totally harmless and likely will go away on their own.
