Moved
Moved from Notiophilus.

Notiophilus semiopacus
is best image fit to species according to the complete North American Notiophilus key by Lindroth (1961) -- but I recommend that specimen be confirmed by key under scope. The twelve or so longitudinal carinae on frons needed for N. semiopacus are nicely shown.

Thanks
Thanks Peter. I'll include them in the next batch for determination.

Moved to species page
for now which already had other images that I had commented on. Subject to change depending on my examination of this specimen. Thanks.
