When I See a Superb Photo Like This.....
I know how frustrating it must be to have difficulty making an ID. So, I'd like to make another plug for joining the All-Leps Barcoding Project. You could make an excellent contribution with just the Tortricids and other micros that you seem to encounter in abundance. And many more of your photos could receive the accurate labeling they deserve.

How would I join the Barcoding Project?
And what does it involve? Is it just a matter of sending in specimens with the collection data?

Yes, specimens do not have to be spread.....
.... just pinned with a data label. You'd use the same log number for your photo and data label and then easily know which specimen the DNA report refers to. Probably the best thing to do is to contact Mark Dreiling and find out exactly what his experience has been and the best way to get started. Go for it!
