Stone path insects- Leafhopper nymph black - Doratura stylata
Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

Same as previous?

Doratura stylata
A nymph of the introduced European species, common on lawns. The 3 spots on the margin of the head are distinctive.

Interesting collection of bugs on the rocks
I've found some huge stone "stairs" that are popular with insects, particularly beetles and spiders. I also see more hoppers there than I do on plants in the vicinity.
