Webb Canyon , ~2000 ft. altitude, Los Angeles County, California, USA
May 15, 2009
Size: 4 mm
This mirid was really pretty far gone when I found it in the pool. Hopefully, I'll get the opportunity to photograph one of these attractive guys alive in the future. Until then, I'm hoping that I can get an ID from these images. Thanks!

His comment: "the genus is currently under revision (by me) and this species will be transferred out of the genus in time."

Moved from Ceratocapsus.

Wonderful news!
So happy to have an ID for this one, especially because I believe I have recently taken a nice series of images of a live specimen of this species. Will move that up on my list of images to post soon...

Thank you =v=, and please let Dr. Henry know how much I appreciate his reviewing my images. I look forward to seeing the results of his genus revision.

Moved from Plant Bugs.

First thought, it is Ceratocapsus sp.
I'll check it later. ^^
