Treehopper - Cyrtolobus fuscipennis - Cyrtolobus fuscipennis

Treehopper - Cyrtolobus fuscipennis - Cyrtolobus fuscipennis
Reed-Turner Woodland Nature Preserve, Lake County, Illinois, USA
June 9, 2009

Moved
Moved from Treehoppers.

Cyrtolobus pallidifrontis
Definitely not an Ophiderma - the crest is distinctly keeled.

This is the only species in this genus with a brown band across the wings. C. fuscipennis also has darkened wings, but the markings are more extensive.
