Five-barred Glyphipterid Moth - Diploschizia impigritella

Five-barred Glyphipterid Moth - Diploschizia impigritella
Pittsburg, Coos County, New Hampshire, USA
August 15, 2005
Size: 4mm

Identified by
Richard L. Brown, and relayed to me by Bob Patterson from MPG, saying is was formerly in Glyphipterix. I believe it still belongs in the Glyphipterigidae, going by the common name still given to it, but correct me if I'm wrong.

Glyphipterigidae
A sedge moth, genus Diploschizia or Glyphipterix.

Glyphipterigidae
That's a new family for the guide. Thanks for the ID Dennis.
