Spotted while on a walk with the kids. We know it's a dragonfly. What kind?

Clubtail.
This is one of the clubtails in the family Gomphidae, as evidenced by the widely-spaced eyes. A very difficult family for which to make more specific identifications, but we do have some accomplished experts here, so stay tuned....
