Red or Carolina? - Tramea carolina

I normally see lots of Carolina Saddlebags....but might this one be a Red Saddlebags? From what I have read, the Red Saddlebags have a "window" at the base of the hindwing patch. Is that what those clear areas are on this one? Thanks!

I'm not an expert, but this one looks like Carolina to me. The clear area in this specimen's wing patch is very small, and the size and shape of the wing patch itself matches better with the Carolina Saddlebags in Abbott's guide to dragonflies of Texas and surrounding states.
