Dytiscidae sp - Copelatus chevrolati - male

Dytiscidae sp - Copelatus chevrolati - Male
Middleburg, Clay County, Florida, USA
June 9, 2009
Size: 6.33mm
Collected at light. Oblong suction cups on both fore and mid coxae. Hind coxae contiguous.
The keys work it out to Thermonectus, but it does not have the long row of stiff setae on
the hind margins of the mid femora, and Therm* does not have the suction cup on mid tarsi.
I think I keyed myself out on these critters today. Appreciate help on this one.
