Unknown beetle - Plateumaris

Size: about 1/2 inch
I found this brilliant green beetle on some vegetation alongside a wooded trail. There is a wetland area about 1000 feet away in two directions, and an open, damp meadow area nearby. I have been unable to come up with an ID for this beetle and the closest I could think of was a leaf beetle, such as a Donacia species. But I am really unsure of this one.
