I was all set to say it was a variation of Harmonia axyridis, and I suppose it still 'could' be, but then I saw your size estimate...Adalia bipunctata would be another possibility...

This is Harmonia axyridis 100% based on markings
one of the rare black and red spotted forms, nice find!
