Explanation of Names
Anomis impasta of authors, not Guenée, 1852, a Floridian taxon, was formerly incorrectly associated with the species Anomis impasta Guenée, 1852, TL French Guiana in Lafontaine & Schmidt (2015), ZooKeys, 527: 135.
Range
Through most of Texas from Dallas County southwards, plus Caribbean including Barbados and Jamaica.
Food
Caterpillars have been noted as a pest on cotton plantations.
