Anomis (near) impasta - Anomis luridula
World Birding Center at Bentsen-Rio Grande Valley State Park, Hidalgo County, Texas, USA
October 4, 2008
My older photo of this entity was identified by Ed Knudson as "Anomis near impasta". This one is apparently of the same species. Knudson and Bordelon call it, or something visually indistinguishable, A. impasta in their book, but the moths of Jamaica website (see Info page) has a different photo for impasta and calls this form "near".

Moved
Moved from Anomis impasta based on identification by Kelly Mortensen of BAMONA.
