Photuris genus Firefly i think
That's a lightning bug. I believe in the genus Photuris. Here's a similar, but not exact one I photo'd recently. I'm not an expert, but I'm pretty sure yours is Photuris as well.

Head not concealed
I thought the head of a firefly is concealed from above by the pronotum. Not a hard and fast rule?

 
OK, now I see...
In this genus, the head is often visible from above.

I just photo'd this Photinus yesterday (different genus) with its head sticking out when it was walking around.
