I linked your images, because they're of the same individual. I also cleaned up the location information- the system automatically fills in some of the things you added to more than one field.

It has a sort of wolf-spider-ish look to it, but I could easily be wrong. It's safe to say, though, that it isn't one of the few potentially dangerous species. Unless you're one of the rare few who are allergic or abnormally sensitive, there's nothing to worry about.

Chuck is right

this is not a dangerous spider. I don't think it's a wolf spider, but I'm having trouble placing it right now. My first instinct said Pisaurina, but the eyes don't quite match. I'll look at this a little more tomorrow.

I'm thinking Pisaurina too. I think the angle of the shot might be making the eyes tricky to pin down. I've never seen an abdominal pattern quite like that on any other spider.

Dolomedes?

Looking at the carapace the pattern/dark mark is rounded out toward the center. In Pisaurina the dark mark is quite straight. I think I'll have to revise my answer to something in the Nursery Web Family - Pisauridae.

That's so cool! Thanks so much for looking at my pictures and trying to identify it.

I was going to set him free today, but apparently you can't keep a spider in a cup overnight - my apologies to the spider lovers out there - I meant no harm.

I tried taking some pictures of the "eyes," but I don't really know where those are...or which is the front and which is the back...so I took a picture from each directions. Hope these are helpful.
