Mike,

This individual must be a male of Cyrtopogon lutatius (distinctive bushy white mystax), while the other two shots appear to be the female of the same species. These are significant because the would be new state records (for my Nearctic Asilidae checklist; C. luatius was previously known as far west as Michigan).

I went to this spot to look for a male of C. laphriformis. I collected and photographed what I believe is a female of that species last year and went there looking for a male, but saw these and C. falto instead.
