Bagworm? - Psyche casta

Bagworm? - Psyche casta
Brighton, Northumberland, Ontario, Canada
June 19, 2009
Size: 1 cm +
Is this a bagworm? There were about 5 of these on the brickwork around my front door. If it is a bagworm, is it possible from the materials used and the shape to know which bagworm it is? Thanks in advance for any help.

Psyche casta
The introduced Psyche casta(1) is the standard bagworm in the Northeast USA, especially on structures, and probably in Ontario too. The case looks right.
