Lady beetle - Cycloneda munda

Lady beetle - Cycloneda munda
Heritage Valley, Allamakee County, Iowa, USA
June 21, 2009
Size: 6mm
In overgrown field near field of corn, feeding on aphids. Will add dorsal view later.

Not an expert but...
I would go with Polished Lady Beetle (Cycloneda munda)

But it could be Cycloneda polita... Please wait for an expert on this one...

c munda
c munda looks more likely given distribution info, but I need to get better pictures-I have a couple that look like this.
