Mountain race, Q. Alexandra's Sulphur? - Colias christina - Male

A considerably large bright orange sulphur. I only noticed the very faint 3 dark spots on hindwings when I put the photos on the computer. The only species with 3 dark spots are philodice and eurytheme but none of these occur in Jasper.

looks like a male Colias christina
Which is sometimes considered as part of C. alexandra, though this one is rich in coloring than the other.

Moved from Butterflies (excluding skippers).
