I cannot figure this one out. I thought it was a Frosted Tan Wave (Scopula) using Covell's. When I viewed images on the net,in the guide and MPG, I realized I was wrong. It appears to me a combination of dotted, wave and frosted. The blackish shading along the FW is one of the things that is throwing me off. Can I just call it Sprinkled With Pepper Wave Moth? Help with ID vey much appreciated, if possible because it looks worn.

I agree with Bob. This is heavily maculated Scopula limboundata (7159).

I Suspect a Case of Melanism in.....
.... 7159 - Scopula limboundata. I'll send it to the geo guru to see what he has to say.
