I found this on my milkweed, and assumed it was a tiny crisalis.
That was not the case however, for this came out..not a parasite but the exact shape of the crisalis. looks like it has radar on it.
past that im stumped it sorta looks like a fly but even with a magnifing glass..i could see no antenne, and no eyes. and the pictures arent the best sorry..it is allmost see thru.

it may be Acroceridae (Small-headed Flies)
Maybe even Ogcodes dispar, but I'm no expert
