Right tribe, I believe, but wrong genera... Looks more like
Saxinis

The iridescent colors of the pronotum just don't show
it's very different from the Saxinis that I also collected.

Some 13 described Saxinis taxa recorded from AZ......
Megalostomis
= large mouth
Note the red isn't restricted to the shoulders...
Also, note the relatively smooth pronotum and elytra...
