Size: approx. 15mm
This seems to match the Doru genus in the Guide but I'm not sure about distribution as all the other photos were taken in the South/Southeast.

acc'g to (1) (p.187), Doru taeniatum (Dohrn), very similar to the 'common' eastern D. aculeatum (Scudder), lives along the Atl.Coast and west to AZ & CA
