This species is best ID'd by pulse rate per second of song in a given temperature.... however, there are also markings on the hind leg which can also aid in identification. These markings involve three small black marks at the femoral/tibial joint on the rear leg and two black rings distal to the joint. This male was found by Dr. Thomas J. Walker in Gainesville.
