Observed this Halloween Pennant today after work in the Bonnet Carre' Spillway.

Amen, Brother
Finally, bug hunter on the Gulf Coast! Welcome to BugGuide. This photo is a bit far away, but seems like I can see a dorsal stripe on the abdomen and reddish colors on the wings. Shear speculation, but I'd say it's a young male.

Know the Bonnet Carre' Spillway and the MRGO quite well. A buddy is pres/ceo of Gulf States Maritime Association. I recently did graphic design/layout of their new map book.
