micro moth - Ortholepis pasadamia

micro moth - Ortholepis pasadamia
Buffalo County, Wisconsin, USA
June 24, 2009
Size: about 10 mm
I collected this small pupa attached to a birch trunk on 6/13/09. On 6/24/09 I found the moth in the same jar. It seems like there must have been two different pupae attached to the same piece of birch bark, but I didn't notice a second pupa. Thanks, Charley, for help figuring out that the two are unrelated.

Marcie, I'd like to contribute to your Bug Life Cycles website... If you add me as a contributor, I can go through my BugGuide images and give you links to other life cycles I've photographed.

I'd love to have you as a contributor! I'll write you an email, and we'll figure this out.

Thanks for the id!

I'll get some photos to you. I'd love to be able to contribute to the Moth Photographers Group.

How can I move this to the guide? I think it needs a new page.
