There were dozens of these dragonflies flying around on my lunchtime hike. Grassy clearing in montane forest habitat at ~7000ft. The two that landed were on the other side of a fence so limited how close I could get and what angle. These two shots are of the same individual both of the dorsal side. I'll link to the ventral shots I got of the other individual. From the large size, I'm guessing a darner, but I don't know which are found here.
