Wow, this species seems to have a very small window of activity in most of the country.

are referring to months of occurrence shown on the Data Tab please keep in mind that this is user submitted data and is very incomplete. This is a common species that inhabits open woodlands, woodland edges, and old fields. The larvae feed on grasses.
