a second caterpillar!
This one is one of the Datana. Red head and red feet should help, but we find these guys so variable and difficult. See here. Do you have any sense of what kind of plant this is? Even just family will probably help.

 
I think the plant is a mangrove
but, it's pretty chewed up. We have a lot of it here in various flavors (Red, White and Black). It could also be Ixora since I have that around the house.

I spend time looking for birds, butterflies and dragonflies mostly but, shoot what I see. I generally get the ID's right on butterflies but, moths and caterpillars are a bit tougher. I just ordered an ID book on moths after finding a Southern Purple Mint Moth though.

I try to get some of the environment into my shots. I prefer that to anatomical closeups.
