Dragonfly - Libellula auripennis

Dragonfly - Libellula auripennis
Fairfield County in Blythewood, SC, USA County, South Carolina, USA
Am wondering if this is a female Golden winged skimmer or female spangled skimmer or something else.

Ode ID
Appears to be Golden-winged Skimmer (Libellula auripennis), possibly a young male, but can't be sure about sex.
The color of the costa appears to be unchanged at the nodus.
The legs appear to be black (rather than brown).
The pale area on the side of the thorax does not extend forward across mesopleural suture.
These features are diagnostic for L. auripennis.
For tips on separating L. auripennis from L. needhami, check the first 4 photos in this album on our website. For maximum resolution, click on "get original uploaded photo" at lower left on initial images. Fine photo!
