Lacewing Larva - Micromus

Lacewing Larva - Micromus
Alexandria, Fairfax County, Virginia, USA
June 30, 2009
Size: 1-2 mm
Alien baby! This little critter was running a marathon up my glass door last night; wouldn't hold still at all, so this is the best shot I got. I could tell what it was by its distinctive movements, swinging its head side to side as it ran. This is the tiniest one I've seen - recently hatched, I imagine?

Is this a green lacewing or brown?

Thank you -
makes sense, as there seem to be lots of adults of those in the same area.

This was placed in Brown Lacewing larvae. The setae make me think it belongs with the Green Lacewings instead--but I'll let the experts make that determination.
