My little hornworm, posted yesterday probably fell prey to our big fat robins... but a new egg was deposited last night, so yay for me to get a second chance to follow the life cycle of what is likely in Genus Manduca...

my little hornworm that disappeared--hopefully the egg above will have a better shot at completing it's life cycle.
