Size: 3.5 - 4.5 in
Found this Caterpillar eating on an Oak Leaf. Looks very similar to Yellow striped Oakworm. However, There are no stripes and the colors are like nothing I've ever seen.

How about
Anisota stigma, the Spiny Oakworm, in the guide
here
. It's color is very variable, but would have all those white dots and the many spines down the back. Wagner
