Thanks. I can't find Judolia genus in my Audubon Field Guide. Does it go by another name?

Audobon just a sampling
Most field guides can only show a small sampling of all the species. I believe Douglas Yanega's Field Guide to Northeastern Longhorned Beetles will include all the species for ME. I have it and that's what I'm checking against.

V J Hickey Thanks again for the info; my files have been corrected.
I'm a surgeon(MD), retired, which does not qualify me for Bug IDs.

You're in good company
I have no entomological qualifications, and I suspect most BugGuide.Net contributors will be in a similar situation. That doesn't mean we're not serious about identifying our bugs! The more you learn though, the more you realize there is much that you don't know.

Don't be discouraged, I hope this website will be a community where we can all learn together. Eventually I'm sure we will get some qualified experts who will keep us straight.
