Asian ladybird beetle larva with mite

Anybody know the relationship between the two? Friends, foes, neutral? In the same spot of woods I found adult Photuris firefly with what looks like the same type of mite. They're all over the place.

Trombidioidea
There are at least three mite larvae (all ectoparasitic) visible in this image. Can't ID the two smaller ones without better images, but the large blob is a trombidioid. Sorry I can't go further than that yet.

thanks - appreciate the ID help with the mites
