Need a blow up of this photo
Hi Kyle. I suspect strongly that this spider is Araneus cavaticus, the Barn Spider of Charlotte's Web fame. What is really neat is that this particular photo shows the epigynum fairly clearly, and that should nail the ID down. To be sure, would you mind enlarging and cropping around the epigynum and submitting that. The epigynum is the little nob just below the big black square. Much thanks.

I guess it needs a new guide page, could someone make one for it if it turns out to be sure from this species?
