Range
Native to the Palaearctic (Europe to Mongolia & China). Adventive in our area (established in Salt Lake County, UT) (Holtz 2009). As of 2018, seems to have been established in ON (BG data)
i've seen a specimen labeled as collected in 2021 in Houston, TX area (=v=)
Food
on mallows (Malva, Malvaceae) and linden (Tilia, Tiliaceae) (Holtz 2009)
