Moved from Skippers... but I notice that Gesta gesta is listed as a valid, separate species by both All-Leps and Butterflies of America. Are you sure Gesta invisus is correct?

Gesta invisus
I got this binomen from the book "A Catalogue of the Butterflies of the United States and Canada" by Jonathan P. Pelham.
This book states in the Appendix 1: Gesta gesta - This extralimital taxon was previously considered conspecific with Gesta invisus.

According to your Butterflies of America link - Gesta gesta occurs in the Greater Antilles, Costa Rica to Argentina.

Thank you for creating the guide page sir.

Thanks
Should have looked more closely at that link.

In most field guides the binomen is Gesta gesta (False Duskywing).
