. Are you sure

is correct?

I got this binomen from the book "A Catalogue of the Butterflies of the United States and Canada" by Jonathan P. Pelham.
This book states in the Appendix 1: Gesta gesta - This extralimital taxon was previously considered conspecific with Gesta invisus.
According to your Butterflies of America link - Gesta gesta occurs in the Greater Antilles, Costa Rica to Argentina.
