From Rod Crawford
"This would have to be Psilochorus hesperus, one of the two native
Pholcids in our state. The other, Pholcophora americana, is much
shorter-legged.
Note that this is one of the hundreds of harmless American spiders
that has a "brown recluse violin" on the carapace, thus helping to
nullify the myth that you can identify spiders by such "markings.""

Closer images?
So, it seems there is no need to collect it, but some closer-up/larger images would also be welcome -- especially the profile. :-)

Pholcidae...
Interesting! Definitely a member of the Pholcidae. Reminds, actually a good deal of R.J.'s
Artema atlanta
species that he posted. He doesn't have any dorsal images, but Bernard Huber, from the Uni-Bonn, does, and the similarity is rather good, IMO. Any chance you could collect one of these for use? (But first maybe Lynette has an opinion, or can get a comment from Rod C.?)

Possible
I could probably find a couple of specimens for study if you want some. They seemed rather common at the site a couple of weeks ago but thing change as time progresses and waiting for replies from Rod may mean missing the spiders.
I should collect the specimens soon as I will be heading west of the mountains for the BG gathering this weekend and am not sure wne I will be able to get back to the site.
