Size: About 1 inch
On buddleia. Wings had a more bluish tone, with coppery edges, than the photo shows.

BEHAVIOR: It let me get surprisingly close for a frontal view (shown in a linked photo) but, when not flying, kept its wings closed most of the time. I did get one dorsal shot of open wings (the other linked photo).

Sorry, I can't help out with the ID on this one...
Just wanted to leave you a note to let you know that the text you fill in on the submission form for the "Identifier" field (e.g., 7/06C) is not visible to anyone other than you when viewing your images. Just a suggestion on my part, but it is probably less confusing for people if you simply refer to the "third image" in the series of create a link to the image itself.
