Oklahoma City, Cleveland County, Oklahoma, USA
June 7, 2009

Tigrosa grandis
for the spider.

Moved
Moved from ID Request.

Pompilid.
This is a female Tachypompilus ferrugineus. Spider is a wolf spider (Lycosidae).

Thanks
Thanks Eric. I appreciate you taking the time to respond. I am a true amature. I had never seen an interaction between these two and found it remarkable.

Insect vs. Spider
This insect had subdued the spider and was working to pull it up the brick wall. I have video if anyone is interested.
