This is the robber Holcocephala. I don't know if it is fusca, calva or abdominalis. But lovely shots.

Thanks a lot, Herschel. Just knowing the genus is a huge help. I appreciate your taking the time and thanks for the complement. Every time I go over to the park I try again to get a better picture but my autofocus wants to focus on everything but this tiny fly. I'll keep trying. Ann
