try to persuade them they have a lot to do with the introduction of this ubiquitous pest to the country and blackmail the lifelong supply of meals out of them

Hmmm....
Last time there we had live scallop, I've had live sea urchin there, I think live shrimp, but stink bug...??? Maybe not as good as Uni.
