Amazing shot!
I've never seen one of these before, but remembered an illustration from my college entomology textbook. It is a Mantidfly (Neuroptera:Mantispidae). The adults are predaceous and the larvae parasitic in the egg sacs of ground spiders according to Borror, Delong, and Triplehorn (4th ed). Great bug!!
